Perth’s premier coastal venue, Indiana, is located directly on Cottesloe Beach and seems to rise effortlessly from the beach sand. Indiana offers uninterrupted views from every window, with all areas commanding views of the Indian Ocean and the magnificent sunsets beyond Rottnest Island.
If you are seeking a truly memorable beachside wedding, then Indiana is the ultimate wedding venue. We can provide either exclusive or non-exclusive use of the venue (120 sit-down / 170 cocktail-style).
Spring 2009 renovations saw Indiana re-open as a Modern Beach Bistro, with a fresh ‘Beach House’ look. Think: clean lines, cool white walls, bright stripes, coloured cushions, deckchairs... Contemporary weddings are a focus of the makeover; Indiana is perfect for modern weddings where the bride and groom require a format that offers something a little different'. Its spaces really have to be seen to appreciate Indiana’s full potential.
Private Ocean Room
Indiana's exclusive 'Private Ocean Room' stretches along the northern side of the building and offers sweeping vistas of Cottesloe Beach and the Indian Ocean. This stunning space is truly remarkable; there is no place like it in Perth and it is best suited to smaller, more intimate weddings.
It features sliding window panels and a pull-down blind that can be used to block off this space for exclusive events. The northern edge of the space can be completely opened up, with no windows – only the fresh air and sounds of the ocean washing in over you and your guests. This open-air experience sets the Private Ocean Room apart, creating a special place to showcase Cottesloe beach and our affable, breezy WA lifestyle.
It is approx 22m in length, and approx 3.5m wide, with a ceiling that is approx 3m high.
There is a room hire fee of $300 for this exclusive space and minimum spends may apply, depending on the time of year and week your event is held.

The Pavilion
Indiana’s main function area, ‘The Pavilion’, offers undeviating views of the Indiana Ocean. It features tall ceilings with vast, decorative stained glass panel windows and cool white walls that make the ocean really stand out. The Pavilion is well-suited for contemporary and also cocktail-style weddings
